Fall 2015 Makeup Trend: Less Is More | Beauty Tips

Beauty at Michael Kors Fall 2015 RTW
Among all the fall beauty trends (nude look - smoky and orange eyes - bright red and brick lips - defined brows - graphic eyeliner - glowy skin), the no-makeup is definitely the one that appeals to me more. No-makeup doesn't mean you haven't it, but rather that the final look must be the more natural and fresh possible, like there is barely makeup indeed, a pretty difficult results to get in my opinion. The base, in fact, has to be flawless: all the imperfection and blemishes must be skillfully hidden with the right hues of concealer; the brows must be well drawn and the cheeks slightly flushed, with the final touch of nude eyes and natural matte lips. I'm still obsessed by the bold pout as you know and I don't give up on my red lipsticks yet, but yesterday I bought a new rose-nude lippy (Max Factor Colour Elixir Lipstick n.615 Star Dust Pink), just so you know :)

What about you? Are you going to try this makeup trend or are there others you would like to try?

xoxo

Splendido e raffinato, un make-up quasi invisibile ma perfetto. Magari riuscissi a fare una cosa simile, sarei a posto. Mi devi insegnare! ;)
Bacio Lilli e buona giornata! :*

100% agree that the 'no makeup' makeup look is the hardest to achieve. I have tried and failed to achieve it but mainly is the brow. I have a hard time trying to make it as natural as possible but guess what? I think you just inspired me to try again today. And you bought a rosy nude llil product? Can't wait to see it on you, Lilli...did you post it on IG?

Secondo me se si ha un incornato bello luminoso e un po' abbronzato è un bell'effetto...io invece ho provato su di me che sono stra bianca e mi sembro una morta...preferisco un pochino di colore sulle labbra !

Dear Lilli,
At really like the nude make-up, but for this trend it's very import for a flawless skin. So "the no make-up look" looks better for young women like you. My face needs a little bit refreshing colors like red lips or smoky eyes. The make-up for the Michael Kors Show are very beautiful. I'm sure this would look also great for you.

Hi Lilli! Long time no see! Yes, I do like this type of make-up and I have never been a fan of heavy make-up. Clear skin tone, blushed cheeks and pinky lips sounds like the perfect make-up! Wishing you a nice day ahead! I am going to catch up with your posts, because I've missed so much lately. But tell me, why don't you enable the comments? Kisses, Lilli!

This trend makes me very happy as I'm usually all about less is more when it comes to my makeup. It's funny that this less made up look actually does take a little effort but I think it's worth it. I bet your new rose nude lippy looks really pretty on you. That's like my favorite lip color :)

Ciao cara Lilli,

I am also a fan of a bold red pout, but I have gotten more into the mild nude lip. It's feels like something new & exciting, even though it is less dramatic. :]

My make up always stays the same from season to season, I'm quite boring when it comes to make up just because I don't really know what I'm doing. I do like seeing people with dark or bold lips but i can never pull it off. I don't think I could wear a dark lip because of my skin tone, I don't know but I did wear red the other day, inspired by you. I do like a a less is more make up trend for day to day - the most I wear is a little concealer on my cheeks and mascara. I wish you a happy Friday Lilli x

I love this look because I prefer natural and nude makeup on myself too. For photos I don't mind bright pinks or reds but in real life, I prefer wearing a nice nude lip, subtle cheek tints and eyeliner only! Btw I loved your insta pic today in similar makeup! You were looking beautiful!!

I prefer the natural look myself because it's something I can easily do (though how well I can cover imperfections and draw a cat eye is questionable). I love smokey eyes but I can't so them on me, it's like I'm attempting to paint with my left hand (I'm right handed). I also looooove nude lips, having a little trouble with the right nude for me. Sometimes I think I've found it and some days it looks amazing others not so much. But red lips are timeless Lilli, no matter what.

Wow, I think this nude makeup version is really gorgeous for fall season. The less is more style when it gets cooler is my favourite, although for me a bold lip also works with minimal face makeup. Happy weekend Lilli! xx/Madison
