It might seem banal but dressing appropriate with extremely cold temperatures could often be a huge trouble, especially when you suffer the cold and nevertheless want to look good. My simple tip is to wrap up warm by starting from little layers so that each part of the body stays well covered and dry during the day. The choice of the fabric and its quality are very important, you won't ever feel warm and safe with only synthetic fibres, right? So, I usually prefer wool garments when it comes to sweaters, scarves and gloves; while I leave the cotton ones for undergarment and basics, like tank tops or turtleneck shirts. In winter, when the weather gets really cold, it's best to bundle up before going out; a well layered look adds warmth and protects you without sacrificing style, you only have to adapt the outfit to the cold and remember those simple three layers: base, middle and top, almost like the fragrance notes :)
