How to get sculpted cheekbones this season? With the draping technique, of course; say goodbye to contouring and strobing for now. But what's draping? It was a very popular makeup trend in the '70s, so it isn't something new at all, and simply consists in highlighting some features of the face by blending the blush, usually 2 complementary shades: the darker one to sculpt the cheekbone while the lighter one to enhance the apple of the cheek and blend the colors out to avoid the patchy effect. Blending is the key to achieve a flawless result, it takes time but definitely it's worth it.
I just love this technique, it's very natural and femine, plus it gives those romantic and doll vibes to the makeup which I personally find so irresistible :)

Draping sounds interesting, dear Lilli. May this is a makeup trend for me. I dry to counting, but I have two left hands. This is not for my. draping sounds a little bit easier to handle. Thank you for introducing this new technic.

This is the first time that I hear about the draping technique. I'm not a fan of contouring and I don't think that I will ever be able to master it. I will look into draping to see if that could be something that would work for me.
