There are no right words to describe the magnificence of this little and yet stunning island. Kilometres of wild landscapes, evocative views, outstanding dunes, gorgeous beaches, characteristic restaurants, fab cocktails.. it is a place where you are only surrounded by the peace and the silence of nature with the company of a strong wind and a powerful sun. More than a trip, visiting Fuerteventura is an experience, a travel to another world that will be always kept in the mind and heart :)
Since I first visited Madrid, packing wasn't easy at all: I chose to travel light bringing with me just few basic and sporty garments, suitable from day to night, to stay comfy and cosy as the place requires (weather in Fuerteventura is pretty warm during the day but is also very windy so becomes chilly in evening, a pull or a jacket can turn very useful); besides, of course, the swimwear.

Oh beautiful, they really do look like postcards. What a stunning place. I will have to put this place on my things to do list. You're very lucky that you are able to pack light, I still haven't worked out how to do that yet especially when I am going to places where the weather can change so much ha ha.

Wow, Lilli! You've been to some lovely island there. I only see scenes like these in movies and I cannot imagine how it would feel like to be really there soaking in the sights and sounds. Your T shirts are so cute. I'm trying to make out the print of the T shirt with silhouette and pink. I'm glad you enjoyed yourself. I'm always happy to hear the people I like being happy. I have been to Fuerteventura a few years ago and just loved it! From where I am from it is a 19 hour plane ride with a few transfers and I was so worth it!
