More I grow up and more I notice I tend to lighten my makeup. There were days where I would have felt nude if I wouldn't have put on my usual bold colors or if I would have used only the basic neutral ones. Now it is all the opposite: as I've already showed you in this post, my everyday makeup routine is super essential and still continues to be so also now in winter. Don't get me wrong, I still love to put makeup on and experiment new looks, as you have seen in my previous outfit, just I don't like anymore to feel the face heavy preferring natural shades and a thin line eyeliner on the eyes, a tinted gel for the eyebrows, but always with the only exception of the red lips, which I will never give up :)

My sweet Lilli, I completely agree with you, I don't like heavy makeup on my face. A tinted moisturizer, a black liner or kohl and a tinted lip balm have been a part of my makeup these days but yes, a red lipstick gives a great change to my looks. Io per il make-up di tutti i giorni vado sempre sul semplice: mascara, eyeliner e phard sempre, più il rossetto ogni tanto! :-) bellissima tu truccata così Lilli!!!
...anch'io quando metto in risalto la bocca lascio il makeup occhi leggerissimo, solo mascara e magari ombretto neutro, un illuminante sotto l'arcata e nell'angolo interno dell'occhio e tanto mascara...crescendo ho ampliato i colori usati e mi diverto ancora a giocare con i colori...magari quando mi vedo stanca punto ad un trucco soft e sul rosa!!!

I've only started to love makeup in 2013, previously I almost never use any. But I do agree that about keeping it simple and neutral, I can never bring myself to wear any bright eye makeup. However, I am 100% with you on the bright, bold lips! I love bold colours and can never wear anything sheer. LOL!

I have never used lots of make-up on my face just because I look weird. For example, I really want to put sometimes a lipgloss or eye-shadows, but they just don't look ok on my face. But you and your red lips go in a perfect combination! I totally understand you about the lighter make-up!

Sometimes a more neutral look is just as great! I think that's normal, I know the older that I get, the less makeup I've used vs. when I was younger wanting to experiment more with it, plus I like to be ready under 15 minutes for makeup/beauty in the morning. But, I love trying new lip colours. You look beautiful either way.

Hi Lilli, you re-designed your Blog. Looks so nice. Well done. I also tend to use lighter make-up. Instead of using foundation, I use the tinted moisturizer now then top it with illuminating powder. I use colour on my eyeshadow and lipstick. Your red lipstick looks great.

Mi riccordo quanto ero piccola, piccola... non vedevo l'ora di diventare grande e avere il "permesso" di truccarsi :) Poi, nel liceo e i primi anni dall facolta' - niente :) Allora, avevo un periodo di tre anni quando non potevo vivere senza il trucco ma adesso, con gli anni... uso solo le cose piu' basic! Io opto sempre per un make-up naturale sia in estate che in inverno. L'unica cosa che mi concedo è un tocco di colore sulle labbra. Ormai non posso fare a meno dei rossetti.

Oh Lilli, I'm rubbish with make up and i just don't have the patience to apply it. I don't wear foundation and rarely wear lipstick but I do make an effort to put on mascara but not fake eyelashes. this sin't because I don't like make-up, I just don't have the time or patience or knowledge to apply it, my hair takes long enough ha ha. So I guess like you I tend to go natural too, which is good I suppose because it's less to do. I must admit you really do suit a red lip so I can see why you wouldn't want to give that up - it's such a gorgeous colour and with it being a bold colour you don't really need any other heavy make up. I may try a red lip again soon. Hope you're having a good week x

Usually during the summer I do not wear much makeup for a topic of heat, a little cc cream, mascara and eyeliner eyes is enough, I also like the makeup is very natural I'd rather take more loaded at night only if I have an event . Btw like it your new design of your blog Lilli!
